Student User Account Information

All Surry Community College students enrolled in a curriculum course are provided with a student email account, username and password.

Your username and password may be used to access your email, log onto campus network computers and access Blackboard if you are taking an online course or a supplemented online course.

You may find your username and password information by enter the information on the form below.

Last Four Digits of Your SCC ID Number: 

           

Your password will be the first four characters of your last name and the last four digits of your SCC ID Number. (If the last name is less than 4 characters then use the last entire name plus the first letter of the first name and the last four digits of your SCC ID Number)

Example:  John Q. Somebody - SCC ID Number: 001234567
Username =  someboj - Password = some4567

About Student Email

Student email accounts are available at the beginning of each semester. These accounts are closed at the end of each semester. All data in these accounts will be deleted when the accounts are closed.

About Passwords

It is recommended that you not give your password to anyone. You are responsible for the contents of your email.

Be advised that all email correspondence using your SCC account are subject to the North Carolina Public Records Law and may be disclosed to third parties by an authorized state official (NCGS Chapter 132).

Students using technology equipment at Surry Community College agree to abide by the Acceptable Use Policy signed at registration.
