9/30/09 - Campus Alert - Reports of Vehicle Break-Ins

In the past week the SCC Police Department has received reports of vehicles being broken into on campus and as a result, larcenies of items from within these vehicles have occurred.

The SCCPD advises all students, faculty, staff and visitors to lock all doors and secure all property within their vehicles. Pay close attention to your surroundings and report all suspicious vehicles, persons and activity immediately to Campus Police at 336-386-8121, e-mail shropsm@surry.edu or 911 if it is an emergency.

SCC strives to maintain a safe and secure environment. If anyone has any information about these incidents or other safety issues, please contact Campus Police as soon as possible.

You do not have to reveal your identity. If you wish to remain anonymous call the information center at 336-386-8121 + 0 for the operator. Simply give the information you have to the operator and it will be supplied to the SCCPD immediately for action.
