The Corporate and Continuing Education Division of Surry Community College has openings in the Medical Billing and Coding Hybrid class. Classes will begin on February 6th at 6pm and end June 27th. You may register any time through February 3rd. There are no prerequisites for this class, although Medical Terminology is strongly recommended.

A hybrid course is a mixture of classroom instruction (face to face) and online instruction. Students who wish to take hybrid courses should have excellent computer skills; high speed internet is recommended. This is a new class that will have a combination of Basic and Intermediate Procedure and Diagnosis Coding, some Medical Terminology and Healthcare Billing and Reimbursement.
