AOL Users
If you are an AOL customer and you use the AOL browser, you will have difficulty using Moodle for Internet courses. Instead, connect to the Internet with AOL as you usually do, minimize your AOL browser screen using the button shown below. Then open Internet Explorer and use it to connect to your course:

If Internet Explorer is already installed on your computer, check the version.
- Click here to download the latest IE browser.
- Check your screen resolution. Minimize all of your open programs by clicking on the "minus" button in the upper right corner of all open programs until you return to your opening desktop screen (the one with icons on it). To change the screen resolution right click on the Desktop and click on the Properties from the pop-up menu. Then click on the "Settings" tab at the top of the Display Properties dialog box. You should have a minimum screen resolution of 800 X 600, and your "color palette" should be set to its highest setting.
- To view the latest version of the pages on any Internet site, click the Refresh icon at the top of your browser screen. You can also click your right mouse button on any blank space on a web page and then click "Refresh" on the menu that appears.
- If you have disabled Javascript or style sheets you will not be able to fully appreciate an Internet Web site's design.
- With Internet Explorer open, click on Tools > Internet Options > Accessibility to make sure you have not checked any boxes.
- Be sure that you do not set your security preferences to high. Doing so will prevent your computer from storing "cookies," thus preventing you from viewing every page in your Internet course.
