Facility Rental
Surry Community College welcomes other organizations (not directly affiliated with the college) to use campus facilities for their meetings or activities when their work is compatible with, or supplementary to, the educational and local economic purposes of the college. Charges or fees may be assessed dependent on the activity. Facilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Auditoriums
- Classrooms
- Dining areas
- Gymnasium
- Information highway classrooms
- Tennis courts
- Training facilities, and grounds
Access to buildings and facilities are permitted under the following conditions when the use is:
- Is requested by responsible groups and is beneficial to the citizens of Surry and Yadkin counties
- Will not interfere with or be detrimental to the ongoing educational and activity programs of the college
- Creates a mutually beneficial relationship between the group and the college
- For an activity or program that does not supplant, compete with, or resemble college training or instructional classes

After approval, the College will send the following items:
- A letter of agreement (contract) to be executed by an official representative of the organization confirming the space reserved, date and time, rules and regulations governing the use of the facility, and applicable charges
- Copies of maps, directions, as applicable
- An invoice for charges, payable in advance, as applicable
