High School Students

Surry Community College offers many students the opportunity to earn college credits even before graduating from high school. These programs provide flexible, seamless, student-centered educational opportunities which maximize student potential and educational resources.

Through partnerships with area school systems and the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, Surry Community College currently offers high school students the opportunity to take advantage of the College Tech Prep Partnership, Dual Enrollment, Early College, the Huskins Program, Learn and Earn Online, and Upward Bound.

All high school students are encouraged to speak with their high school guidance counselors to get more information about these programs. Dual Enrollment, Huskins, and Learn and Earn students must meet not only specific high school requirements, but the Surry Community College admissions procedures before registering for college classes.
