Returning Student Registration
  1. Register for Classes

    Note: Students who have a disability requiring special accommodations must notify the Disabilities Service Coordinator 60 days before registering for a Distance Education course.

  2. Pay Tuition Fees
    • When you have completed registration for your classes, you may pay your fees online through Knight Life, set up payments through E-cashier, or by contacting the Business Office on campus. Complete the registration form.  Submit the completed form to Student Development, Attention: Kevin Edwards by email at edwardk@surry.edu.
    • For more information, please call the Business Office at (336) 386-3203.  Be sure to consult the SCC Catalog to ensure your course fees are paid by the due date. Failure to pay all fees on your class schedule by the due date will result in all classes on your schedule being cancelled.

  3. Complete Orientation Requirements

    Depending on the type of Distance Education course you are taking, you may be required to complete an orientation.  Check the Moodle orientation information to find out if you must complete this requirement.

    Note: If you have taken the Moodle orientation previously you are not required to complete it again.

  4. Placement Testing

    Testing is used to determine your level of reading, writing, math, and algebra.  It is not a test for admissions, but to determine your placement .  If you have not previously met this requirement, contact Student Development at (336) 386-3443.
