Pilot Center
The Pilot Center is one of two CLEAR Sites (Center for Learning, Education, And Retraining). Offering Corporate and Continuing Education classes as well as college credit curriculum classes this center is located about ten miles north of King, just a few miles east of U.S. Route 52, in the former Amos and Smith building on Main Street.
This center was made possible by a grant from the Golden Leaf Foundation to assist the Pilot Mountain community, and other east-side Surry County residents, to obtain workforce training and provide local educational access to help in the tough economy.
